The Jupiter Warriors held off a late rally and defeated Suncoast 7-4 in Riviera Beach. Starting pitcher Brock Minich earned the victory with 4 solid innings of work. The junior scattered 5 hits and allowed just 2 earned runs. Todd Mercado earned a 4 out save entering the game with the bases loaded in the 6th inning. The senior righty struck out the Charges top hitter with 4 pitches and went on to pitch a scoreless final frame to secure the victory. The Warriors pounded out 11 hits led by senior Kevin Fry who walked twice, scored a run and tallied a 2 RBI triple. Senior Chase Bishop had 2 hits and scored twice. Junior Zach Johns walked, doubled, and had an RBI single for the Warriors. Senior Logan Heiser reached base 3 times, scored a run, and recorded an RBI double. Senior Lance Fry chipped in with an RBI single for the 8-11 Warriors.
