Zak Sprankle delivered a dominant pitching performance in the Jupiter Warriors 5-1 victory over Florida Christian. The sophomore righty tossed 6 stellar innings allowing jut 2 hits and 1 run. Junior lefty Colin Wojtusik pitched a 1-2-3 final frame to secure the victory for the Warriors. Jupiter tallied 7 hits led by senior Zac Hall who went 2-3 with a run scored, a stolen base, and an RBI single. Junior Cody Wilson walked, doubled, and scored 2 runs. Junior Zach Johns added an RBI double for the Warriors. Senior’s Logan Heiser and Kevin Fry each recorded an RBI single in the Jupiter victory. Next week the 9-11 Warriors will play their final 2 games in district 9-8A starting with a rematch versus Wellington on Tuesday 4/08 followed by the rematch with long time district rival Palm Beach Central on Friday 4/11. These 2 games will decide the final seedings for the district playoffs that begin on April 21.
