Solid pitching and timely hitting paced the Jupiter Warriors to a 4-1 victory at Palm Beach Gardens. Starting pitcher Mack Lemieux earned the win with 4 solid innings of work. Junior Colin Wojtusik, and senior Todd Mercado provided 2 inning of scoreless middle relief and senior Lance Fry earned the save with a scoreless final frame. The Warrior offense was paced by senior Chase Bishop who delivered a clutch 2 out, 2 RBI single in the 2nd inning. Junior Mack Lemieux went 2-3 with an RBI double. Lance Fry added a late RBI double for the Warriors. The 7-11 Warriors remain in the mix for the district 9-8A top seed with a 3-3 record. Up coming games vs. PB Central and Wellington loom large in the race for the top seed in the district.
