The Jupiter Warriors dropped to 2-2 in district 9-8A play after a 3-1 loss to Rival Palm Beach Central. Starting pitcher Lance Fry threw 4 innings and suffered his first loss of the season. Senior Devin Nelson pitched a scoreless final 3 frames for the Warriors. The Warrior offense managed only 5 hits vs. Central ace Shane Sawczak who also homered for the Broncos. The Warriors had scoring opportunities but stranded 8 runners in the loss. Senior Logan Heiser doubled, drew 3 walks, and scored the lone run for the 5-6 Warriors. Senior’s Chase Bishop, Lance Fry, Trey FitzgeraldZac Hall, and junior Robert Valdez all recorded hits in the loss. The Warriors will travel to Boca on Thursday 3/13 to face the Bobcats at 7pm.
