The Jupiter Warriors fell to Cardinal Newman 3-2 at Doug Ferguson Field In Jupiter. Starting pitcher Griffin Garland allowed just 2 hits in  3 2/3 innings of work. Junior Bryan Clark relieved Garland and struck out 3 of the 5 batters he faced. Senior Devin Nelson took the loss for the 3-4 Warriors. Jupiter senior Trey Fitzgerald hit the first Jupiter home run of the season with a solo shot in the 2nd inning. Senior Chase Bishop gave Jupiter the lead with an RBI single in the home half of the 3rd. Junior Robert Valdez scored on the Bishop single and added a double for the Warriors. The Warriors will face long time district rival Palm Beach Gardens on Friday February 28 in a key district game.
